A re-unification of Cyprus will not happen until the embittered older generation who witnessed the violence and atrocities of 1974 have passed away, and the younger generation takes over leadership of the island with a strong cooperative vision of a unified, sovereign country, that would also completely detach itself from the negative influences of both Greece and Turkey. Ironically, it is this very separation and secession from the political, religious, ideological and patriarchal ties to both Greece and Turkey (Erdogan included), that is necessary to create the conditions for a tipping point in the future which will lead to successful unification. *Separation will lead to Unification!* You read it here first, people. It is the only choice and the only path that will work. Therefore, it is very important that young people in Cyprus persist in friendly dialogue with one another to form a new, independent and sovereign country of Cyprus; one that will be based on secular values with absolutely no military presence or political influence permitted from the mother countries of Greece and Turkey, on a permanent basis. Any military presence or assistance would need to be provided neutrally by the EU. All residents/citizens of Cyprus would share the same nationality as being "Cypriot" with everyone using the same Cypriot passport and the official languages of the country being both Greek and Turkish. These foundational doctrines will need to be enshrined in a new Cypriot Constitution that will recognize and protect all Cypriot citizens of both Greek and Turkish descent. The island will then finally be able to stand on its own free will and rapid development of infrastructure and economic expansion should logically follow under these favourable conditions, which will make the country of Cyprus one of the most visited countries in the world.
